I think Apple’s Magic Mouse contributed to the wrist and thumb pain I have now. Only used it for a few years, but because of the shape and size, I held it at an awkward angle. I love the feel of a mouse, but also love the multi-touch gestures.
I used both for a while, but reverted to mostly using the Magic Mouse for everything; that’s when I switched, and I think my wrists are slowly recovering as a result.

Sweet desk going into a nice studio room ;-)!!
What do you do with 2 trackpads??
Eat with my right hand, mouse with the left. ๐
I switch between them pretty randomly, hoping to reduce any long term wrist issues from just having one on either side.
Makes sense. I still use a traditional mouse. Can’t really stand using a trackpad fulltime. Would be weird having two mice ๐
