It pleases me that the scar looks like one of those “old timey cartoon scars,” you know?
A lot of modern surgical teams will work to minimize scarring and even book a plastic surgeon to do some real life Photoshop on your skin. Back in the day? None of that. They’d just slice you open, cut out whatever part of you they thought was the trouble, and yes, stitch you up so quick that when you finally got a look at your ripped up railroad track of a scar, it actually told a STORY, you know?
“Yes, this is a scar. No, it does not define me. Yes, if it did, you would learn of the epic bar fight when I acquired it, and how I took the lives of three men that night with my bare hands. Okay, and a pool cue. Whatever, it’s still impressive.”
